Sick and tired of diaper bag full of "distractions" for my toddler ... especially now that the diaper bag is also for the newborn ... I created our very own "Fun on the Go" Box. The box lives in my car - and stays there. I can just grab it when needed ... like for dining out or waiting in the doctor's office.
The Box was once the packaging for store-brand floor wipes (like Swiffer) - nice repurpose, huh?! :)
Inside (aka the Fun) you'll find a baggie of crayons, flash cards, several small books, stickers, and tiny notepad.
What would you put in your toddler's very own Fun-on-the-Go Box?

I LOVE this box idea. One question, where did you find that box? Also, we'd probably put similar things in the box minus the stickers for now - she's only 15 months and stickers definitely don't go where they are supposed to. One thing we would put in the box is a travel Magna Doodle. It's her favorite toy. And a couple of toy cars and/or trains.
OOH! We need to do this! Thanks for the push!
We have a pink draw string bag that we take to restaurants and family dinners etc. the contents change periodically but includes- mini aquadraws, peppa pig card set for snap, memory pairs etc, small puzzles, a magazine, crayons, colouring sheets and stickers.
I think this is a fantastic idea. I am expecting in December and have a, now, 14 mo. old...I'm inclined to use the box as a special treat when nursing. Any more suggestions for what else can go inside are greatly appreciated. Also, where did you get those great letters to label the box? THanks!
